Kirby's Return to Dreamland REMAKE (Claymation)

Welcome back again people! Today I'll again be riffing not-episode-2 of Mario Plush Universe! YAY! Just kidding, I am reviewing a cruddy animation like a promised weeks ago. The video I will be reviewing goes by the unimaginative title of Kirby's Return to Dreamland. See, I told you that the title would be unimaginative! The rest of the video is unimaginative too. You have to see it to believe it.   Anyways, let's get this over with so you can stop complaining about me not reviewing a cruddy animation.

THE DESCIPTION

This is an enhanced remake of my very first video I posted to YouTube, Kirby's Return to Dreamland.
With 3D viewing options, digitally restored video and audio, a behind the scenes video, commentary from the creator, his/her family, and these random guys from across the street! Just kidding, I really needed an excuse to make fun of remakes/special editions/rereleases and their special features. Moving on!
This was actually an art project in my Art Appreciation summer course at Broward College.
I'm pretty sure that you will earn a D on this project (and I'm trying to be nice). Also, here's what every other student in your class probably sees you presenting this as:
This took me HOURS -- scratch that -- DAYS to complete this, with a minimal amount of breaks.
Let's be honest, it also took DAYS to complete Ratatoing, (with a minimal amount of breaks) and it was AWFUL!  Yes, I am willing to compare this cruddy video to mockbusters.
I also figured out a way to add more frames per second, so the animation looks smoother.
Darn, I was thinking of introducing the "Choppy Frame Rate" category in my final verdict today. Maybe another time?
Thankfully, I finally was able to include the sound effects, 'cause I realized why the audio wasn't working, due to a wretched little feature that is named "ducking." -_- Well, as I was saying before, I tried my hardest at this, so, here it is! Enjoy!
Breaking news, ducking is actually helpful when making audio, because it helps even audio automatically! It's actually quite cool! Also, if mockbuster quality is the best you can pull off, you might as well learn more before you make more trash. Now, let's look at this effortless piece of trash video.

THE VIDEO

• 0:02 Take note that Kirby walks like a sloth here.
• 0:04 Here's a comparison of this to the real Kirby's Return to Dreamland. What happened to the Waddle Dee?
• 0:06 No mouth details? No problem! *sarcasm*
• 0:18 What the heck is with these blue things?
• 0:23 Why don't we pause it everytime we make a transition. *more sarcasm*
• 0:27 Waddle Dee: Am I late for something?
• 0:28 OH GOD NO.
• 0:29 ♫ Waddle Dees can't run away! ♫ Oh dear, now it's YouTube Trash: The Musical.
• 0:31 AND THEN HE DIED!
• 0:35 Everyone else missed the party at the first level.
• 0:37 Is he dead already?
• 0:41 This is the part when with the comparison, this video goes from bad to freaking terrible!
• 0:42 Poppy Bro. Jr: I can't believe I'm doing this. >:(
• 0:43 "Hey Kirby. BOMB".
• 0:45 PWNED!
• 0:47 The bomb didn't even disappear!
• 0:50 More failure, courtesy of bad filters!
• 0:52 HEY KIRBY!
• 0:55 PLAYDOUGH EXPLOSION!
• 1:00
• 1:02 PWNED! (again)
• 1:07 Water Galbo: I'm tired!
• 1:13 OH GOD NO!
• 1:15 Elektro Gaylord was better.
• 1:18 Look at all of that detail!
• 1:19 It's fire Q*Bert!
• 1:22 Yes, it's deficiently Q*Bert.
• 1:26 Video Brinquedo's films have better special effects than that!
• 1:28 So long, suckas!
• 1:33 Someone call the fire department!
• 1:36 Waddle Dee just turned to crack.
• 1:44 A wild SUPER SWORD appears! Go KIRBY!
• 1:48 SUPER SWORD fainted!
• 1:52 Special Effects Failures at their finest.
• 1:55 YOU MUST DIE! Oh god, I just made a CDi Zelda reference.
• 1:59 Can ultra sword cut down trees?
• 2:01 The portal to Hell is opening!
• 2:03 "Screw this, I'm out of here!"
• 2:06 Right here, they just didn't care.
• 2:15 Who actually is bad enough at this game to do that.
• 2:19 Anyone else notice that the Advancing Wall of Doom isn't advancing?
• 2:22 And Kirby left the wall behind to eat his dust.. or clay or whatever.
• 2:25 Apparently, today is Sphere Doomer's day off.
• 2:28 DIE! Sorry, I love mishearings like that.
• 2:30 Let's trash the place and end this video.
• 2:31 Get in there already.
• 2:33 No Goal Game here? This could only be the work of Chuck Norris (or more realistically, laziness).
• 2:40 The not-so-amazing Disappearing Kirby!
• 2:43 Waddle Dee: I'm lazy!
• 2:45 It's over!
• 2:48 Or not.
• 2:51 How about one last PWNAGE!
• 2:53 Hi? Don't you mean bye?
• 2:54 This has got to be the end!
• 2:59 IT'S FINALLY OVER!

Well, that's the end of the cruddy animation, and I did not lie when I said it was cruddy! That video was enhanced? As in enhanced my ability to laugh at hilariously bad animations? You say you'll get an A. I know you will get an A, because there is an "A" in the word "failure"! And I can't believe this took more than an hour to complete! I don't care if the animation is smooth! I don't care if... you know what, screw this, I just doing my final verdict now.

FINAL VERDICT

Lack of Effort- Animation is smooth, but you can easily notice many critical research failures.
Production Value that's Worse than Power Rangers- THE UNORIGINALITY! IT BURNS!
Special Effects Failures- With the comparison, you automatically know what I'm giving this.
Lack of Research- Remember to always research for your projects.
Disgracing Animation- This category is new, because even Kirby himself would hate this.
Overall Failure: 10/10
Video: Gets a 1/10 for lack of effort, unoriginality, bad special effects, and cruddy animation.
Thanks for reading this review and wondering what grade Alex will get. I'll see you tomorrow for a review of either the long overdue Mario Plush Universe episode 2, Baby Mario Bros. Adventures episode 3, or whatever else I can think of. Hi! I mean, bye!

Well, that's the end of the second episode of PAIN. GamePlush did not improve much, so I'll just get the final verdict over with!

Final Verdict

Lack of Effort- Recycles almost a full minute of footage from the first episode; rather short.
Production Value that's Worse than Power Rangers- More Windows Movie Maker abuse!
Poor Usage of Screen Recorder- Need I say more?
Recycled Footage- Takes up only a bit of the video.
Lack of Research- Well done at failing, my friend.
Overall Failure: 9/10
Video: Gets a 1/10 for lack of effort, recycled footage, and poor usage of Windows Movie Maker.
Thank's for not getting killed by Furbies. Tommorow, I will review a cruddy animation FOR REAL this time. In the meantime, keep hoping that episode 2 of Mario Plush Universe comes out soon, and I'll see you tomorrow!
